The system we use to process payments places a hold on the funds before it gets an authorization from your credit cards issuing bank. In cases where the bank or our system declines the transaction, you may see a temporary hold on your statement for the order amount. Depending on your bank, the temporary hold could last anywhere from 5 minutes all the way up to 1 business day. Although you may see the total deducted from your balance, the status of the transaction should say "PENDING" and not "POSTED."
