When we ship ride-on cars, Fedex & UPS require us to disconnect the battery. At times, the battery connector can lose shape and become loose.
If you've received a car and your battery connector appears to be loose or wont stay on, heres how to remedy the issue.
1. Disconnect the power
Disconnect the power to the car completely, this can be done by removing the red connector from the battery or disconnecting the main power connector pictured below.
2. Bend The Battery Connector
Using pliers, bend the battery connector found at the end of the wire by applying slight pressure on the pliers for a tighter fit (see image below). Be careful not to bend it too much or it won't fit at all. If you do happen to accidentally bend it too much, you can open it back up with flathead screwdriver. Please note that the metal connector at the end on the end of the wire can easily be adjusted without breaking.
3. Re-connect Power
Now you can plug in the main power and re-connect the connector to the terminal on the battery. Your ride on car should be good to go!
